The Wedding of Clinton and Dominique

I have always wanted to shoot a wedding at the 12 apostles. Wow, what a beautiful venue. Thank you Clinton and Dominique for affording me the opportunity to shoot your wedding at this lovely venue. The day started out wet and rainy, but as the day progressed the weather improved. The upside of the bad weather was that we had the entire Llandudno beach to ourselves to shoot some awesome pics. I hope you enjoy the album and I wish you the best for your future.

The Engagement of Marco and Rene

Marco and Rene held a small engagement party at “The Grand” and myself and my wife was honoured to be invited to this special event. Marco likes the hard and edgy style that I applied to my band photography and asked if I could apply it to some of their engagement photos.

It is hard not to notice how in love Marco and Rene are, and it was not necessary for me to improvise any poses. All I had to do was snap away. The Grand supplied us with the perfect backdrop to produce some amazing shots.

Thank you Marco and Rene for a pleasant evening, and I wish you two only the best for your future.

Ps……  no more tequila for me. Think I had enough.

Clinton and Dominique – Engagement shoot – 17 October 2010

I scouted this great location a few weeks ago, and put a lot of effort into planning this shoot. I was a little worried about the weather when planning, but never expected the  the waether could be too good. On Sunday it was 32 degrees and everybody in Cape town decended on the beach. eish!

Luckily, Clint and Dom was the adventurous type, and we set of on an expedition to find a quiet spot. After an encounter with a octopus, we found the perfect spot. Thank you for being such a great couple and I look forward to shooting your wedding in November.
