The Engagement of Marco and Rene

Marco and Rene held a small engagement party at “The Grand” and myself and my wife was honoured to be invited to this special event. Marco likes the hard and edgy style that I applied to my band photography and asked if I could apply it to some of their engagement photos.

It is hard not to notice how in love Marco and Rene are, and it was not necessary for me to improvise any poses. All I had to do was snap away. The Grand supplied us with the perfect backdrop to produce some amazing shots.

Thank you Marco and Rene for a pleasant evening, and I wish you two only the best for your future.

Ps……  no more tequila for me. Think I had enough.

Clinton and Dominique – Engagement shoot – 17 October 2010

I scouted this great location a few weeks ago, and put a lot of effort into planning this shoot. I was a little worried about the weather when planning, but never expected the  the waether could be too good. On Sunday it was 32 degrees and everybody in Cape town decended on the beach. eish!

Luckily, Clint and Dom was the adventurous type, and we set of on an expedition to find a quiet spot. After an encounter with a octopus, we found the perfect spot. Thank you for being such a great couple and I look forward to shooting your wedding in November. Micheal and Colleen Stumbles

What I love about weddings are the stories. Sometimes you hear the most amazing story of a couple at a wedding. The story of Colleen and Micheal could have been a Hollywood script.

Who can predict the future? Never in a Million years would either Micheal or Colleen ever have predicted that they would fall in Love with each other.

Born 14 000 km apart on 2 different continents, fate and destiny conspired to join these 2 souls together as one.

The Pacific ocean was not wide enough to keep this love separate.

Their mutual faith in the lord brought them together.

Not only did the Aussies beat us convincingly in the Tri Nations this year, but it seems that they are stealing our woman too.

Thank you Micheal and Colleen for letting me share your amazing day and your amazing story on your special day. Yours will be a wedding I will remember for always.
